Fans of Jessica Simpson guess that this year, she may sport short hair and could curl her tresses. This look can be accompanied with black or red highlights at the tips of her hair. Jessica has been seen sporting a similar look earlier with the hair curled all over and lightly pulled back

Prep damp hair with volumizer and blow dry over a large round brush. Teh, set sections on jumbo steam roller. When the rollers have cooled, remove and gently brush into place, taking care to retain their shape. Form a large loop at one side with a large-barrel curling iron, and mist with holding spray.

Ashlee Simpson rocks Hairstyles for Women with Big Noses well. In this particular hair do she is wearing long side-swept bangs. The bangs help draw attention away from the nose while the side part help make the nose look smaller. Textured curly styles are also great to take the attention away from the center of the face. Of course Ashlee does not have to worry about the nose due to a recent knife job. It seems like the first thing to do when you make it as a star is to get a nose job. Plastic surgery is becoming very popular not just in Hollywood, but with everyone, young, old, male and females.

Fall 2009 Hairstyles. For the fashionistas who always keep up with the hottest trends of the season the most popular looks for fall 2009 hairstyles. This season is all about sleeked back hair and showing off your bone structure. Many looks are reminiscence of the 80’s as many updos, bouffants, and the most highly used product for fall …hair spray. So many retro styles are making a huge comeback for fall see more below.

Big Gothic

http://www.darkfaery-subculture.com/wp-content/uploads/2008/03/gothic-hairstyle.jpg
Big gothic hairstyles since the eighties emphasized height or largely styled hair that is both romantic and mysterious. Crimping or curling and backcombing are the major ways to achieve such big hair for certain gothic hairstyles.

Depending on the specific style, hairstyles in the big hair categories may require styling, cutting, or treatment techniques. Big gothic hair styles often requires backcombing or teasing and the liberal application of styling aids such as moulding mud, hair spray and hair gel, often in combination with the use of hair dryers. Crimping irons, curling irons, perms, hair rollers or other techniques may also be required for longer hair to help it stay big.

Liu Wen Walks For Victoria's Secret, 2009-2010

Liu Wen became only the second third Asian model to walk the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show last week. Most news outlets incorrectly reported Liu Wen as the first Asian model to do the show.

The first honor went to Ujjwala Raut who did the show in 2003-2004 show Yasmeen Ghauri who walked for the show in 1996 (unconfirmed), followed by Ujjwala Raut in the 2003-4 show.

The 2009-2010 Victoria's Secrety show will be aired on CBS on December 1st.

Daniel Liu & Hana Mayeda Editorial for GQ China, November 2009

Now that Condé Nast has launched GQ China (in October 2009), I hope to see more Asian male models getting work and recognition in the international scene.

Foreign markets can be risky but highly profitable. New York Magazine reported that Vanity Fair Italia was one of the most profitable magazines on Condé Nast stable of publications. Aside from revenues generated from the ad pages, the magazines are sold mostly from newsstands at full price (€4-€5).

In the US the revenues for publishers are generated primarily from ad pages where rates are determined by circulation numbers. So to beef up the circulation numbers, most magazines offer cheap annual subscriptions ($12-$19/year) to the readers.

Introducing Ping Hue Cheung from Major Model Management

I have received a few e-mails about this new girl at Major Model Management. She is Chinese but based on the way she spells her name, she's not from China. She's probably either Taiwanese or from Hong Kong. Does anyone have more information on her?

Introducing Sun FeiFei from Elite London

Sun FeiFei won 3rd place in last year's Elite Model's Look World competition and has appeared on numerous fashion magazine covers and editorials, primarily for Chinese publications.

But with her recent appearance on the runways of London and Paris at the Spring/Summer 2010 collections and representation by Elite London, we should see some international work from her soon.

Introducing Xi Mengyao Ming Xi from China from the Elite Model's Look World Competition, 2009

Ming Xi Xi Mengyao (a.k.a. Barbie -- is there a WORST western name for a Chinese girl?) from China was one of the finalists at the recent Elite Model's Look World competition. She didn't win -- Julia Saner from Switzerland did -- but her show card appeared on Models.com, which is a good thing. It will be interesting to see if she makes it in the international scene.

Elite Model's Look World competition is definitely NOT in the same realm as Ford Model's Supermodel of the World in terms of generating attention and creating top models. However, I think Stefanie Seymour and Linda Evangelista started out as Elite Model's Look finalists in the early 1980s.
